Vancouver, British Columbia, August 15th, 2025 – Lifeguard DH is proud to share a recent milestone with our valued clients and supporters. We are now featured on the World Health Organization’s Digital Health Atlas, after being recognized as an “Exemplar in Digital Health” in the Geneva Health Forum, held during the 78th World Health Assembly week in May 2025.

This recognition highlights the impact of our work in creating reliable, timely, and efficient digital approaches to enhancing public safety and connectivity across countries. The milestone affirms our alignment with ongoing public health priorities and cements us as an effective digital public health solution globally. We are extremely grateful to see our efforts being recognized on this large a scale through the WHO Digital Health Atlas.

The WHO Digital Health Atlas is a global platform developed by the World Health Organization to strengthen the value and impact of digital health. The platform serves as a technology registry that aids countries across the globe in sharing knowledge and utilizing digital health data effectively – contributing to better outcomes and equitable access to related services.

Meet Dr. Chandana Unnithan
As the Chief Scientific Officer for Lifeguard DH, Dr. Chandana Unnithan is responsible for its research and development efforts. She was part of the WHO Digital Health Roster of experts (ROE), that served alongside the Digital Health Technical Advisory Group (DHTAG) during COVID-19 to shape WHO’s work in transforming the public health sector digitally. Currently, she is active in the Global Initiative on Digital Health, a WHO-managed network and platform for accelerating the implementation of its global strategy.
